I like the shape of the wig in that it has extra height on top of the head giving the hair a heart-shape around the face. We padded the "humps" of the heart with a little bit of stuffing. It took a bit of combing out to give it the more elegant look as shown in the picture instead of a wild fanatical look. The color of the wig is also much brighter than it looks in the picture...think Elmo-type bright almost orange-red. The attached crown is a plus but the inside of the crown was white and needed a little help to look more regal. Also the crown leans a little forward if the wearer doesn't hold their head up high and erect. The wig needed to be re-combed after each performance because the synthetic hair gets a little ratty looking with a lot of movement. My daughter's costume had a really high collar (even higher than the one in the picture) and the wig had a tendency to push the collar... Read more |
